News Peabody Association Robison Road Contract March 2014 – October 2014 The Robinson Road Contract due to commence on the 27th March 2014 will see the conversion of an old workshop into a new 2 bed house. The contract involves the removal of asbestos, the electrical re-wiring of the property, damp proofing, new roofing, a new side extension, decorating, new floorings and finishing’s, new internal doors, bathroom and kitchen as well as new external timber box sash windows. Robinson Road is in the safe hands of our experienced project manager Danny Parrett; the results are going to be fantastic! Thameside Primary School Window and door replacement February 2014 Work Began on the 13th February 2014 and is due to be completed by March 8TH 2014. The Thameside school project consists of the installation of the aluminium SAPA window and door system throughout the school. Despite the monsoon like weather the project is on track and flowing smoothly. Pictures to follow. Raven Door programme 2013 – 2014 The Composite door contract has seen the installation of over 250 doors with a few more to go. The contract; based around surrey has been a success and brought properties up to speed with the latest door efficiency, security and style. Window contractors St John's Wood London - July 2013 Double glazing replacement window contractors London Work began in July 2013 and is due to be completed in September at Barbara Brosnan Court, a retirement complex with 46 self contained flats, on three floor levels and six two bedroom houses situated within the grounds. The double glazing window contract is with Viridian housing, in the affluent area of Grove End Road, North West London just around the corner from the famous Abbey Road Studios. For further details please follow this direct link ● Building refurbishment contract Dorking Surrey - July 2013 Work began at the end of July on two adjoining Victorian properties in Dorking, Surrey belonging to a local housing association. Phase 1 of the building refurbishment contract involves gutting two of the eight flats within the property and fitting new bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, decorating, re-wring, plumbing and central heating. The external building refurbishment involves, repairs to the roof and roofline, replacing soffits, facia boards, guttering. The windows are being replaced with UPVC double glazed windows. External entrance doors replaced and external walls painted white. To see project page click here ● Retirement flat building contract completed June 2013 Building conversion work at Chilmead retirement flats in Redhill in Surrey completed Monday 17th June. The client, Raven Housing Association were delighted with the flat conversion and building works which were finished to a very high standard. To find out more please follow this link - Flat Conversions Window contracts - supply and installations May 2013 This month we have two large supply and installation window contracts with local council and housing associations in Greater London. One project is in excess of 800 windows and the other is approximately 400 windows. Elmbridge Council Canteen refurbishment - April 2013 Nationcare Windows and Property Services won the building contract with Elmbridge Council to completely refurbish the office canteen at their offices in High Street, Esher, Surrey. The office canteen building refurbishment starts Saturday 20th April and is expected to take two weeks to complete. Raven Housing Association - Building begins April 2013 Work begins on the building conversion, extension and refurbishment of a first floor retirement flat in Redhill, Surrey. The building refurbishment contract with Raven housing association based in Redhill, is expected to take no longer than 8 weeks. February 2013 - Senior project manager, Dan Parrett has tendered and won a retirement flat conversion project for Raven Housing Association in Reigate Surrey. He is now preparing the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan (CDM Regulations 2006) with plans to commence this 9 Week project by end of March 2013. New housing association contracts in place January 2013 Work begins soon on a series of building conversions in South east London for local housing association. Chestnut Grove School renovation & refurbishment Jan 2013 Work on this beautiful old Victorian school building is now complete. Chestnut Grove School refurbishment December 2012 The renovation and refurbishment of this lovely old Victorian school building is close to completion. All that remains to be done now is decorating, cleaning up, polishing up the wooden floors and some remaining electrical work in the basement. On the outside some external doors need to be fitted, windows finished, service hatched installed and a final clean up. Replacement external wooden door contract October 2012 Nationcare windows tendered a large contract to replace all wooden doors at a number of air force building locations. Chestnut Grove School building refurbishment October 2012 The school building refurbishment and renovation is going very well, most of the re-wiring and plumbing is now completed. Two modern condensing boilers have been installed in the boiler room. Plastering, dry lining and decorating continues with floors being cleaned up and prepared for carpet or sanding. On the outside; most of the old sash windows replaced with double glazed windows and the roof retiled, guttering, soffit and facia boards installed. The external brickwork is being repaired and re-pointed. We estimate the project should take approximately six weeks to complete. School building refurbishment delayed September 2012 Refurbishment work at Chestnut Grove School brought to an abrupt halt, after the discovery of asbestos throughout the building. Immediate action taken to seal asbestos in preparation for professional asbestos removal. Meantime: Temporary classrooms delivered and installed in school grounds, in time for the beginning of new term. Building refurbishment contractor August 2012 This month sees the start of building refurbishment contract, a Victorian school building in the grounds of Chestnut Grove School, Balham, South West London. The building restoration involves the refurbishment of the old Victorian school buildings, during the summer holidays. The building refurbishment schedule includes the replacement of the roof, external doors and windows and re-pointing the buildings brick work. Inside: re-wiring, decorating, plumbing and installing a new heating system. Building property services- April 2012 Our building property services division expanded, offering roofing, soffit, facia boards and gutter installation, external wall rendering and general building tasks.
